New Carpeting in a Walk in Closet

by Debbie M

After I have a Custom built walk in closet installed, what happens when I want a new carpet?
Does the closet have to be removed?
If so, is there a charge?

Answer: After the closet is installed, when you want a new carpet, the carpet layers will take it all the way to the edge of the closet, that would be the molding if you have one, or the toe kick and install the new carpet the same way they would install it and take it to your baseboards.

So you can install the closet on an old carpet and get a new one later. You will not see a difference between the closet on the carpet and the new carpet that goes to the edge of the closet.
