Flaws and Insufficiencies of Traditional Closet Design

A Closet just with a Shelf and a Rod Are you tired of just having a shelf and a rod in your closet with lots of useless, empty space?
Do those rods that cross in the corners drive you crazy?
Do you find shoes lying all over the floor depressing?
Are non-adjustable shelves wasting the space you have?

I see these mistakes over and over in older and newer homes and I know the remedies that apply to each individual space.

Inspiration in Closet Design

Nice Walk In Closet Imagine how your day starts calmly as you find things easily in an environment that supports you in its simplicity - every day.
Imagine a space well planned that matches your highest goals of beauty and efficiency, for you to enjoy - every day.

How well you can organize your home will influence in many ways how smooth everyday life is for each member of your household and for your family as a whole.

The Many Details That Bring Efficiency and Harmony into Your Home

You will learn:
  • about the different closet elements (shelves, rods, drawers etc..) that make up a closet, an office, a garage or any other item you need to get installed
  • about the closet organizers (tie racks, baskets, jewelry liners etc)
  • about the options (woodgrains, moldings, raised panels) that allow you to give your closet just the look you like
  • and how to get a designer to work with you and your budget

What Makes Me Qualified to Design Closets?

My angle is the one of a designer who has been planning and drawing custom closets and cabinets for the last 7 years. I lived in San Diego, CA, and presently live in Denver, CO., where I work as a designer for a nation-wide closet company.

Seven years of visiting my clients' homes in both states has given me a good feel for trends and preferences that dominate today's home improvement industry. As former Professional Organizer I use my skills of organization as well as my eye for beauty to design the totally personalized perfect closet for each of my clients.

I love beauty and in particular the beauty of a home well organized, functional all the way into the deepest corners of each closet or storage area. This kind of beauty has a feeling of peace, spaciousness and harmony, and this site is to inspire and guide you to have that in your life too, if it is missing.

Are you ready for these changes? If your home is in Northern Colorado (Denver Metro area, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs), contact me so we can start working together.

Organizing may sound serious and sometimes means quite a bit of work, but I find that living with the results is well worth it.
